Pirates: Spicy Brew
Every Rishadan pirate makes the opponent sacrifice a permanent unless they pay, and this build makes sure they can never afford it. Ancient Tomb, City of Traitors and Mox Diamond put a pirate on the table a turn early, Rishadan Port and Winter Orb keep their lands tapped, and Tangle Wire taxes whatever is left. Chain of Vapor returns your own pirates to hand to charge the toll again, Black Vise punishes a hand they cannot empty, and Upheaval resets a board where only you have the mana to rebuild. Parallax Tide left with the January 2026 ban; this is what the crew looks like without it.
