Great Combo: Spicy Brew
Great Combo turns Phyrexian Dreadnought's drawback into card draw: with Greater Good out, you sacrifice the Dreadnought in response to its enters trigger, draw twelve and discard three. Academy Rector gets the enchantments into play: sacrifice it to Cabal Therapy's flashback or Phyrexian Tower and it puts Greater Good or Pandemonium straight onto the battlefield. With Pandemonium out, every Dreadnought that enters deals 12 damage, and Saproling Burst gives you the old Pandeburst kill. Enlightened Tutor, Reanimate, Nostalgic Dreams and a single Replenish find the pieces or bring them back. Eight discard spells protect the combo, and Lotus Petal, Dark Ritual and Elvish Spirit Guide let it go off early. KbgConnor went 5-2 with this 75 and finished 18th at the 126-player New England Premodern Summer Regional on 11 July 2026.
