Chronatog Stax: Spicy Brew
Chronatog's free ability skips your next turn, and you can fire it on the opponent's turn, every turn, forever. That is what breaks Stax wide open: Tangle Wire only loses a fade counter on your upkeep and Smokestack only taxes you on your upkeep, so a player who never takes a turn holds a permanent, one-sided lock. Then you simply stop drawing cards and let them deck themselves.
