Premodern archetypes that play Opalescence
- Enchantress: Each other non-Aura enchantment, yours and theirs, becomes a creature with power and toughness equal to its mana value, so your enchantments can attack; Wild Growth, an Aura, stays an enchantment. As creatures they die to Wrath of God, Pyroclasm kills those with mana value 2 or less, and an opposing Humility strips their abilities.
- Replenish: Turns each other non-Aura enchantment, the opponent's included, into a creature with power and toughness equal to its mana value, so your enchantments can attack. It never animates itself, so a lone Opalescence dodges creature removal entirely.
