Sideboard plans with Misdirection
- Stiflenought vs. White Weenie and Rebels. In: three Essence Flare and Misdirection. Misdirection turns a Swords to Plowshares aimed at Dreadnought onto one of their creatures.
- Stiflenought vs. Landstill. In: three Annul and Misdirection. Annul counters Standstill, Humility and their Powder Keg, and Misdirection turns Swords to Plowshares onto one of their creatures.
- Stiflenought vs. Mono Black, The Rock, Pit Rack and Contamination. In: three Annul and Misdirection. Their removal is Smother, Diabolic Edict, Snuff Out, Innocent Blood and The Rock's Deed: Vision Charm beats all of it, and Misdirection sends Smother to one of their creatures or Diabolic Edict back to them.
- Stiflenought vs. Psychatog, Gro-a-Tog, Dromar Control, BW Control, Deadguy Ale, Clerics and Zombies. In: Misdirection.
- Fluctuator vs. Stiflenought, Landstill, Psychatog, Stasis, Tron and Rebels. Misdirection is free by exiling a blue card from your hand, and 28 of your creatures are blue. It changes the target of a spell with a single target, also onto Misdirection itself, which makes a Counterspell or Mana Leak lose its target; it cannot do that to Annul, since Misdirection is not an artifact or enchantment spell.
