Premodern archetypes that play Gaea's Cradle
- Elves: One green mana for each creature you control, so it taps for more as your board grows and for nothing once a sweeper has emptied it. It is a legendary nonbasic land, not a Forest: Quirion Ranger cannot return it, and Wasteland, Dust Bowl and Rishadan Port can target it. A second copy is a spare or extra mana once: tap the first, play the second as your land drop and keep the untapped one.
