Premodern archetypes that play Phantom Nishoba
- Reanimator: Main deck in almost nine of ten lists since September: it enters with seven +1/+1 counters, tramples, and gains you life whenever it deals damage, which pays back the life Reanimate costs and makes it hard for Goblins and Sligh to race unless Sulfuric Vortex is out. It is green and white, so Swords to Plowshares, Snuff Out and Anarchy still kill it.
