Premodern archetypes that play Stifle
- Stiflenought: Counters Dreadnought's sacrifice trigger, and the 12/12 stays on the battlefield, ready to block. It also counters fetchland and Rishadan Port activations, Goblin Lackey and Goblin Matron triggers, Survival of the Fittest and Hermit Druid activations, madness triggers and a Pernicious Deed activation after the Deed was sacrificed. It cannot counter spells, so it does nothing against Swords to Plowshares.
